MTA Announces Full Closure of the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge Beginning 10 P.M. on Friday, Feb. 23

Traffic will be Rerouted Over the Cross Bay Bridge

MTA Bridges and Tunnels today announced a full closure of the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge for the replacement of roadway deck panels. The bridge, which connects Brooklyn to the Rockaway Peninsula, will be closed in both directions to all traffic from 10:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, through approximately 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24. 

Motorists can use the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge as an alternate route. Service on the Q35 bus will be re-routed via a detour over the Cross Bay Bridge.
