New York’s Responsible Play Partnership brings groundbreaking problem gambling awareness series to Sullivan County

LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY - New York’s Responsible Play Partnership, which consists of the NYS Gaming Commission, NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and the New York Council on Problem Gambling (the Council), is bringing regional gaming operators and problem gambling service providers together for the first time to discuss the issues and opportunities that lie ahead given the State’s changing gambling landscape.

 

The free “Let’s Start the Conversation” event will feature remarks from representatives of the Gaming Commission, OASAS and the Council as well as representatives from Montreign Resort Casino and Lago Resort and Casino. Representatives from Monticello Casino and Raceway will also showcase its responsible gaming program and services alongside regional problem gambling prevention and treatment providers.

 

Who:                     New York’s Lottery, video lottery, harness racing and commercial casino
                             operators meet with problem gambling prevention,
                             treatment and referral professionals to talk about expanded gaming in New
                             York.
