PHOTOS: More Than 1,000 Applicants Attend NYC Transit Job Fair in Brooklyn

50 Applicants Offered Positions or Follow-up Interviews   

Positions Available in Service Delivery, Stations, Timekeeping, Finance, Track, Infrastructure, and Engineering

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) NYC Transit leadership met with more than 1,000 job applicants at a job fair at the NYC Transit Learning Center in Brooklyn. The event allowed members of the community to meet with representatives face-to-face to discuss employment opportunities across a range of sectors.    

Approximately 100 interviews were conducted on-site, and an estimated 50 applicants were subsequently offered jobs or selected for follow-up interviews.   

Job openings at NYC Transit include Staff Analyst Series, Transit Management Analyst Series, Telecom Associates and Specialists, Computer Associates and Specialists, and Civil Engineers and Assistant Civil Engineers. Departments meeting with applicants included Service Delivery, Stations, Timekeeping, Finance, Enterprise Asset Management, Track, Infrastructure, Engineering, Capital Programs, and Electronics Maintenance.   

In addition, NYC Transit is looking to hire thousands of employees in other job categories this year, including bus operators.
