OCFS will deliver a collection of school supplies to Schenectady’s Hamilton Elementary School. The supplies, donated by employees in OCFS’ Capital District offices, will be presented to Principal Leah Kedley, who will distribute them to students as needed.

OCFS’ mission is to promote the safety, permanency and well-being of children, families and communities. The school supplies drive to help local students have a successful school year is just one way OCFS employees are assisting that mission. The agency hosts several other community drives throughout the year, including a food drive and children’s book collection, to serve local schools and social services organizations.

Hamilton Elementary serves about 430 students in grades pre-kindergarten through five.
