Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Recruit Apprentices |

Whitney Point, NY (December 9, 2019) - The Joint Apprenticeship Committee (JAC) for the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen (IUBAC), Local Union #3, will conduct a recruitment from January 6, 2020 through January 4, 2021 for 15 Bricklayer, Mason, and Plasterer apprentices; one Cement Mason apprentice; and one Tile Setter apprentice, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications can be obtained at the JAC for the IUBAC Local Union #3 Ithaca Training Center, 4 Railroad Street, Whitney Point, NY from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., every Monday, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applications are also available at the Department of Labor Career Centers listed below, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours (for hours at each location, see: https://www.labor.ny.gov/career-center-locator/location-list-all.php).

Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
