NEW CLASSIC HALLOWEEN MOVIE SERIES AT THE EMPIRE STATE PLAZA KICKS OFF WITH ‘HOCUS POCUS’ ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 11Free Movies and Popcorn on Three Consecutive Wednesdays |

NYS Office of General Services also Hosting Fall-Themed Lunchtime Events at the Plaza New York State Office of General Services Commissioner Jeanette Moy today invited the public to attend a new classic Halloween movie series at the Empire State Plaza, featuring free screenings of “Hocus Pocus,” “Frankenstein,” “The Bride of Frankenstein,” “Dracula,” and “The Invisible Man” on three consecutive Wednesdays in October.
“If spending time with family, friends, and neighbors watching classic scary movies is how you like celebrating the Halloween season, then the NYS Office of General Services has you covered,” Commissioner Moy said. “All are invited to take time between carving pumpkins and trying on costumes to gather at the Empire State Plaza this month for some spooktacular fun at our new fall movie series.”
With movies starting promptly at 7 p.m. at the Empire State Plaza’s Cornerstone event space between The Egg and Corning Tower, the series includes:
Free popcorn provided by Mazzone Hospitality will be available while supplies last. Screenings will take place inside the Cornerstone event space. Chairs will be provided, but those attending may want to bring their own chairs.
