NYS OASAS ANNOUNCES STATEN ISLAND MEETING OF INTER-AGENCY OVERDOSE PREVENTION TASK FORCE

The New York State Inter-Agency Overdose Prevention Task Force will have a meeting on September 27, 2023 in Staten Island. To address the alarming rates of overdose due to opioids, including fentanyl and other substances, Governor Hochul established the Inter-Agency Overdose Prevention Task Force to charge agency-wide Commissioners to work in collaboration to expand and enhance programming, develop new and innovative initiatives, and ensure that providers have the support and resources they need to offer-life saving care and services.
