Warren County Man Wins $2.5M Jackpot on $2,500,000 make MY YEAR Scratch-off Ticket

Jody Stimpson of Glens Falls is Warren County’s newest Lottery millionaire.  Stimpson won his $2.5 million jackpot prize on a $2,500,000 make MY YEAR scratch-off ticket.

“I stopped into Cumberland Farms for some black tea and a coffee and bought the ticket while I was there,” said Stimpson. “I scratched it outside the store and noticed I had matching 30s with the word JACKPOT underneath. It was all very surreal.”

Stimpson purchased his winning ticket at the Cumberland Farms on Bay Street in Glens Falls.  He opted to receive his prize as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $1,572,012 after required withholdings.

“I plan to use the money to pay off my bills and buy new vehicles for my girlfriend and I,” he explained. “After that I just plan to travel, hike and enjoy life!”
