MTA Announces Service Changes on the M Line in Brooklyn and Queens Beginning May 19 |

Crews Performing Track Replacement at Metropolitan Av/Middle Village The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) today announced that crews will be performing track replacement on the line for eight weekends beginning on Friday, May 19. The MTA is replacing 1,665 feet of track between Fresh Pond Road and Forest Avenue which has reached the end of its useful life. For these eight consecutive weekends, weekend service will be suspended, and a free shuttle bus will provide alternative service between Metropolitan Av and Myrtle Av. Customers can transfer to and from the bus and the train at Myrtle Av (Broadway) and between the bus and the train at Myrtle/Wyckoff. These service changes will be in effect between 9:45 p.m. Friday and 5:00 a.m. Monday on the following weekends:
