Market 32 in Latham Sells Top-Prize Winning Take 5 Ticket Worth $61,228

Store recently sold Win $1,000 A Week For Life Scratch-Off Worth at least $1,000,000

The New York Lottery today announced one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the March 29 Take 5 drawing. The person (or persons) holding the lucky ticket are guaranteed a cash prize totaling $61,228, less required withholdings.

The winning numbers for the March 29 Take 5 drawing were: 07 – 13 – 19 – 24 – 38.

The winning Quick Pick for last night’s drawing was purchased at the same Market 32 that sold a jackpot-winning Win $1,000 A Week For Life scratch-off ticket earlier this month. Twenty-two-year-old Elizabeth Nolan of Manlius claimed the Win $1,000 A Week or Life ticket which she received tucked inside a birthday card sent by her grandmother, Esther Nolan of Menands.

The lucky Market 32 is located at 873 New Loudon Rd. (Route 9) in Latham.

The five winning numbers for the Take 5 drawing are drawn from a field of 39. Take 5 drawings take place every day at 11:21 p.m. The Take 5 Advance Play feature allows players to wager on a maximum of seven consecutive Take 5 drawings all on one ticket.

Winning Take 5 tickets at all prize levels may be cashed up to one year after the date of the drawing.

About the New York Lottery

The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.30 billion in fiscal year 2015-2016 to help support education in New York State. The Lottery’s contribution represents 14 percent of total state education aid to local school districts.

New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education. It takes into account both a school district’s size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of Lottery school funding.
