DEC and Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy Executive Director Mark King Announce New Land Acquisition for Five Rivers


What:
New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Regional Director Keith Goertz and Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy (MHLC) Executive Director Mark King will be joined by staff, volunteers, Friends of Five Rivers members, representatives of the Student Conservation Association (SCA), and state and local legislators to announce a land acquisition for the Capital Region. The property is being incorporated into DEC’s Five Rivers Environmental Education Center

at 11 a.m.

                             Where: Across from Trumpeter Place on Fisher Blvd, Town of
                            Bethlehem 12159

NOTE: Event attendees are encouraged to dress appropriately for the natural, undeveloped site.  Closed-toed shoes and long pants recommended.

         Street parking with short walk across to the press event site.  

 

NOTE: In the event of heavy rain, the event will be held in the multi-purpose room at the new Visitor Center at Five Rivers Environmental Education Center - 56 Game Farm Rd, Delmar, NY 12054
