Commissioner Jeanette Moy today announced that the following 15 businesses were recently certified by the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development.
The newly certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs) are:
- IVet Strategies, located in Babylon, N.Y., is a consulting, logistics, analytics, construction management, digital solutions, engineering, cyber, real estate, and security company.
- OmegaProServices, located in Flushing, N.Y., is a technology company focused on configuration management, quality control, security systems integration, and more.
- C6 Property Management, located in Clinton, N.Y., specializes in property management services.
- Veteran Entertainment Tailors, located in Brooklyn, N.Y., rents consumer goods.
- C&N Pizza Works, located in Rochester, NY, operates limited-service restaurants.
- TJD Financial Planning, located in Troy, N.Y., provides investment advice.
- BrownRock Property Management, located in Canandaigua, N.Y., is a site preparation contractor.
- Star Universe Renovation, located on Staten Island, N.Y., specializes in residential, commercial, and institutional building construction.
- White Glove Service, located in Glens Falls, N.Y., specializes in janitorial services.
- AmeriTech Contracting, located in Middletown, Conn., is a commercial and institutional building construction company.
- Grant Leading Technology, located in Riverdale, Md., provides IT and project management consulting services.
- SDVOB Veteran Dumpsters, located in Orchard Park, is a Dumpster rental service company.
- Turf Products Supply, located on Grand Island, N.Y., is a supplier ad distributor of turf-related materials, including seed, fertilizer, mulch, soil, and sod.
- SSC, located in Woodbridge, Va., provides program and asset management, administrative and support services, and logistics support services to federal, state, and local governments.
- The Cherokee 8A Group, located in Wharton, N.J., is a general contractor for commercial and industrial markets.
The OGS Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development was created in May 2014 through the enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. There are 1,279 certified businesses.
The Act promotes and encourages the participation of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services, and technology to foster and advance economic development in the state.
