Sheet Metal Workers Recruit Apprentices |

Elmira, NY (January 27, 2021) - The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for Area Sheet Metal Workers, Local Union #112, will conduct a recruitment from March 9, 2021 through March 8, 2022 for 10 Sheet Metal Worker apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Please note that the 10 openings listed for apprentices represent the total number for two recruitment regions – the Southern Tier and Western regions of the state. Applications can be obtained at JATC for Area Sheet Metal Workers, Local Union #112, 1200 Clemens Center Parkway, Elmira, NY between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Applications can also be downloaded and printed from the JATC’s website at smw112.org. All completed applications can be delivered in person to: 1200 Clemens Center Parkway, Elmira, NY, or mailed to: P.O. Box 1146, Elmira, NY 14902. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner.
