Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following three businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

• Beyond Steel Inc., located in Greenwood Lake, NY, specializes in general contracting.

• Veterans Contracting USA LLC, located in Liverpool, NY, provides excavating and earth moving services.

• Captain Consultants LLC, located in Clifton Park, NY, is an administration services and support consultant.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of February 4, 2019, a total of 597 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
