**MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY** Fifth Annual ‘I Love My Park Day’ at 110 New York State Parks, Historic Sites and Public Lands

Thousands of volunteers expected throughout New York State

This year, more than 6,000 volunteers of all ages are expected to help improve 110 parks and historic sites through more than 200 projects ranging from general park clean-up, such as debris and trash pick-up, and invasive plant and species removal to beautification efforts such as planting flowers and trees, weed removal, reseeding, painting, installation of benches and picnic tables, trail maintenance and much more.
