Nine Companies Receive Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Certification

Office of General Services Commissioner RoAnn Destito today announced that the following nine businesses have recently been certified by the Office of General Services’ (OGS) Division of Service-Disabled Veterans’ Business Development (DSDVBD):  

  • Steel Caliber Inc., located in Brooklyn, NY, is a bar and restaurant consultant.
  • Shields Mas Learning Resources Inc., located in Northport, NY, provides professional management and organizational training.
  • TEP Concepts & Designs LLC, located in Troy, NY, specializing in coordination and shop construction.
  • RPH Consulting, located in Honeoye, NY, is an energy consultant.
  • J & J Rail Sales Inc., located in St. Charles, IL, supplies crane rails and accessories.
  • Tactical Construction Inc., located in Canandaigua, NY, provides carpentry and framing services.
  • Brennan Photo, located in Katonah, NY, is a construction photographer.
  • Brooks Company Inc., located in Auburn, CA, supplies industrial equipment.
  • B&T Construction Logistics Inc., located in Poughkeepsie, NY, is a building materials supply dealer.

The Division was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo in May, 2014 with enactment of the Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Act. As of August 24, 2018, a total of 530 businesses have been certified.

The Act promotes and encourages participation of SDVOBs in NYS public procurements of public works, commodities, services and technology to foster and advance economic development in the State.
