Throgs Neck Bridge Toll Plaza Overnight Lane Closures Start April 19th
A series of overnight lane closures will continue at the Throgs Neck Bridge starting Wednesday, April 19^th for necessary roadway reconstruction and paving work. The schedule is as follows: Two lanes closed, Southbound (to Queens) only: 10:00 PM Wednesday 4/19 to 5:00 AM Thursday 4/20 10:00 PM Thursday 4/20 to 5:00 AM Friday 4/21 10:00 PM Friday 4/21 to 7:00 AM Saturday 4/22 Two northbound lanes closed in the area south of the toll plaza: 10:00 PM Friday 4/21 to 7:00 AM Saturday 4/22 Motorists should plan accordingly and allow additional travel time during the period of these lane closures. Motorists can sign up for MTA e-mail or text alerts at www.mta.info and check the Bridges and Tunnels homepage or Facebook page for the latest information on this planned work.
