Getting there
 
Take the Hudson, Harlem or New Haven Line to Grand Central Terminal.  From there take the westbound M42 (42nd Street, between Park and Vanderbilt Avenues) to Eight Avenue or, you can walk west to Eighth Avenue (between 47th & 48th Streets). The walk takes approximately 15 minutes.

Visitors can hike the woodland trail and delight in a docent-led tour of the lavishly furnished 1808 mansion. Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts
 
Caramoor’s 71st Annual Summer Music Season presents eight weeks of incredible music including two large scale festival days. Pack a picnic lunch or enjoy burgers and beers from a gourmet food truck. Either way, you’ll be lounging on the lawn, while enjoying high art and casual fun. The American Roots Music Festival features an eclectic mix of folk, country, gospel, and everything in-between with artists such as Sara Watkins, Silver City Bound, and much more. This unique, artists’ space, located on Furnace Bank Road in Wassaic, includes festivals, exhibitions and a rustic charm. There are film, dance, art and music programs for kids and adults, as well as an art nest with drop-in activities. Westport Kayak and Bike
 
Westport, Connecticut is a beautiful coastal town located approximately 47 miles north of New York City. Explore islands and estuaries along three miles of navigable flat water river that leads out to Long Island Sound by kayak or paddle board.
