NYS OCFS TO RELEASE GROUNDBREAKING ELDER FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION STUDY, DISCUSS ELDER ABUSE REPORTING AND PREVENTION

Governor Andrew Cuomo has proclaimed June 15, 2016 Elder Abuse Awareness Day. For every case of elder abuse that is reported in New York State, an estimated 44 cases go unreported. On World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, hear from experts about the warning signs and hear the story of one woman who recognized the signs and came to the rescue of an elderly victim.
