Acting State Parks Commissioner Erik Kulleseid will be joined by Robert Frederick Smith and state and local leaders to celebrate the opening of the Robert Frederick Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The opening will be celebrated with a performance featuring The Late Show with Stephen Colbert bandleader Jon Batiste as well as some of the community’s most talented artists including the Marching Cobras Band, the Harlem Renaissance Choir, Catalyst Quartet, NYO-USA Wind Quintet, Sterling Elliott and Shareef Clayton.
