ADVISORY: Trains Bypassing Pennsylvania Av 3 Station for Emergency Repairs

Trains are bypassing the Pennsylvania Av station on the 3 Line in both directions for emergency repairs after a truck hit and damaged the station structure this morning.

The Pennsylvania Av station will be closed for up to four weeks while emergency repairs are made to the station mezzanine, which was significantly damaged by the truck strike. The overall steel structure of the station and the tracks have been deemed structurally safe, but trains will bypass the station while the mezzanine repairs are made.  4 trains, which serve the station at night, also will not stop at Pennsylvania Av.

For service to and from Pennsylvania Av, customers can use free shuttle buses that operate between Pennsylvania Av and the Van Siclen Av 3 station at all hours.
