DEC AND OGS TO MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT AT FORMER FRONTIER TOWN THEME PARK SITE

As part of Governor Cuomo's Adventure NY initiative to connect New Yorkers with nature and the outdoors, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Office of General Services (OGS) will make an announcement at the former Frontier Town theme park, a signature project of the Governor's "Gateway to the Adirondacks" tourism hub.

Who: DEC Commissioner Basil Seggos and OGS Commissioner RoAnn Destito will be joined by local elected officials and other partners at a ribbon cutting event to unveil the completion of the first phase of Frontier Town site development. Refreshments will follow.  

Where: Take the Northway to Exit 29. Make a right onto Blue Ridge Road. At the intersection of Route 9 and Blue Ridge Road there are two options for parking: Make a right onto Route 9 (South). Make a right onto old Frontier Town Road (about ½ mile from Rt. 9 and just prior to Paradox Brewery construction). Follow Frontier Town Road for 6/10th of a mile to parking area on right (past main entrance), or make a left onto Route 9 (North). Follow Route 9N a half mile to the North Hudson Town Offices on right.

Shuttles will be available at both lots to transport attendees to event location. Please allow enough time to park in a designated lot and take a shuttle to the event location.
