Orleans County Woman Wins $1M Jackpot on Triple Double 777 Red Hot Scratch-off Ticket

Nichole Williams of Knowlesville is Orleans County’s newest Lottery millionaire. Williams won her $1 million jackpot prize on a Triple Double 777 Red Hot scratch-off ticket. 

 

“It really feels great to win a Lottery jackpot,” said Williams.

 

Williams purchased her winning ticket at Crosby’s on South Main Street in Elba. She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment totaling $537,440 after required withholdings.

 

“I plan to use the money to pay off debt and save the rest for my children,” she explained.

 

As of this writing there are two outstanding top prizes available on the Triple Double 777 Red Hot ticket. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery Scratch-off game by clicking the Instant Games Reports link at nylottery.ny.gov.

 

Williams is the 5th New York Lottery player to claim a prize totaling $1 million or more this year.

 

The New York Lottery contributed $10,204,027 in Lottery Aid to Education to school districts in Orleans County during fiscal year 2018-2019.
