Stephen Deiro of Manhattan is the most recent winner of the $7,000,000 CASH4LIFE jackpot. Deiro matched all six numbers drawn for the August 5 drawing.

“It’s surreal,” Deiro said of his win. “I knew I would win one day. I always play the same numbers!”

The winning CASH4LIFE numbers for the August 5 drawing were 09-19-24-34-56 Cash Ball 03.

Deiro opted to receive his prize in annual installments of $365,000 before withholdings. He will receive a net check totaling $231,060 annually for the rest of his life.

“First, I plan to make sure my family is taken care of,” he said. “Then I plan to make some investments. Possibly real estate.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Lex & 103 Inc. on Lexington Avenue in New York.

Deiro is the 75th New York Lottery player to claim a prize totaling $1,000,000 or more this year.

The New York Lottery contributed $1,263,968,814 in Lottery Aid to Education to school districts throughout the five boroughs of New York City during fiscal year 2018-2019.
