ADVISORY: MTA to Launch New Mask Distribution Program as Part of Pop-Up ‘Mask Force’ Event

Leaders from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) including Chairman and CEO Patrick Foye and MTA Chief Accessibility Officer Quemuel Arroyo, along with Mask Force volunteers, will distribute masks at a pop-up event to highlight the start of a new distribution program at the 161 St-Yankee Stadium station in the Bronx today, Monday, April 5.

Media will have the opportunity to gather b-roll and interviews at the station, before boarding a southbound 4 train with MTA leadership. Appropriate social distancing precautions will be taken.
