WHAT’S GREAT IN OUR STATE 2018- AN ANNUAL CELEBRATION OF PEOPLE AND PROGRAMS CONTRIBUTING TO CHILDREN’S MENTAL HEALTH IN NEW YORK STATE

Join the New York State Office of Mental Health, the New York State Council on Children and Families, the New York State Department of Health, the New York State Education Department, the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, Families Together in NYS, the New York State Network for Youth Success, National Alliance on Mental Illness- NYS, Early Care & Learning Council, Suicide Prevention Resource Center of New York, Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. and Mental Health Association of New York State as we honor the programs and people who are performing exceptional work in the field of children’s mental health in New York State.

 


WHAT:   The ‘What’s Great in Our State’ event will feature a ceremony honoring individuals and programs that are successfully addressing the issues of children’s mental health in New York State, including a presentation of Governor Cuomo’s proclamation identifying the week as Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week. This year’s event will also include two keynote speakers and a moderated round-table discussion featuring our awardees. Artwork created by children receiving mental health services in New York State will be featured in a special exhibit during the event’s reception.
