MEDIA ADVISORY: MTA to Hold Embargoed Technical Briefing on Congestion Pricing Final Environmental Assessment

Media Invited to Attend In Person Only

Officials from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will hold an embargoed technical briefing on the release of a Final Environmental Assessment (EA) and Draft ‘Finding of No Significant Impact’ (FONSI).  

The briefing will include an advance look at the executive summary of the EA, which along with the Draft FONSI will be released Friday, May 12, and an opportunity to ask Project experts questions about these documents.

Accredited media are invited to attend the meeting in person only. Those who attend will be required to agree to terms of an embargo that will be lifted at 6:00 a.m. EDT Friday, May 12, when the documents will be posted online.


WHEN:
TODAY, Thursday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m.


Doors open at 11:45 a.m., materials available for review starting at 12 p.m. It is recommended that those who wish to have time to read through the available documents prior to the arrival of briefers at 1:00 p.m. sharp, should arrive as close to 12:00 noon as possible.
