Grand Opening of the P.S. 145 Community Playground

What:           Opening of newly transformed playground

The P.S. 145 Community Playground was designed by students, staff, parents, and community members through The Trust for Public Land’s NYC Playgrounds Program. The playground is part of Governor Cuomo’s Vital Brooklyn initiative – to increase access to open space, recreation, and healthy food; create better jobs and schools; prevent violence; and enhance resiliency. Partners, school children and community members will cut the ribbon on the former asphalt lot at Thursday’s ceremony.
