Laborers Recruit Apprentices |

Massena, NY (February 13, 2020) – The Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for Laborers, Local #1822, will conduct a recruitment from April 1, 2020 through March 3, 2021 for three Skilled Construction Craft Laborer apprentices, the New York State Department of Labor announced today. Applications must be obtained and completed in person at the JATC for Laborers, Local #1822 at one of these locations: 49 ½ Maple St., Massena, NY and Paddock Arcade, Suite 15, 2nd Floor, Washington Street, Watertown, NY, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month excluding legal holidays; and at the Plattsburg Annex office, 23 Elm Street, Suite 400, Plattsburgh, NY from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment period. Apprentice programs registered with the Department of Labor must meet standards established by the Commissioner. Sponsors of programs are required to adopt affirmative action plans for the recruitment of women and minorities. |
