WHAT:           Three members of the Adirondack Thunder – Team Captain and ECHL All-Star Patrick Grasso, Forward Travis Broughman, and Forward Yushiroh Hirano – and Head Coach Pete MacArthur will skate, sign autographs, and take photos with fans during the team’s visit to the Empire State Plaza ice rink.

DETAILS:     Fans can skate with three members of the Adirondack Thunder and their head coach during their upcoming visit to the Empire State Plaza ice rink (weather permitting). The Thunder are currently riding a nine-game winning streak and lead the ECHL’s North Division.

 

                    Team Captain Patrick Grasso represented the Thunder and scored in the ECHL All-Star Game earlier this month. He currently leads the team in goals (19) and points (30).

 

                    Yushiroh Hirano is the Thunder’s fourth-leading scorer this season with 11 goals and 14 assists. He has spent time with the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League and became the first Japanese-born player to score in the AHL last winter.

 

                    Travis Broughman is in his second season with the Thunder and has six goals and six assists.

 

                    A Clifton Park native, Head Coach Pete MacArthur is in his second year behind the Adirondack bench.    MacArthur – who played professionally for 14 years, including parts of four seasons with the Thunder – ranks in the top five in Thunder history in points (175), assists (122), games played (202), and goals (53).
