NEW YORK STATE CELEBRATES THE 25th ANNIVERSARY OF THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT

**MEDIA ADVISORY - FOR PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY**

New York State Agencies and leading disability advocates will host New Yorkers from all over the state for a celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the signing of the landmark Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) at the State Capitol in Albany.  You are invited to join us in West Capitol Park on July 24th at noon for live music by the world-renowned rock band Flame, whose members consist entirely of people with disabilities, and to hear words of inspiration from individuals impacted by the historic legislation.
