NEW YORK STATE TO RECOGNIZE CITY OF ROCHESTER FOR CLIMATE LEADERSHIP

New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Executive Deputy Commissioner Ken Lynch, and Adam Ruder, Program Manager, Clean Transportation, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), DEC Region 8 Director, Paul D’Amato, Joseph Crimi, New York Power Authority (NYPA), Senior Program Manager, Western New York, and other elected officials will recognize Mayor Lovely Warren and the city of Rochester for actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build climate resiliency.

What:  DEC Executive Deputy Commissioner Lynch and NYSERDA Clean Transportation Program  
Manager Adam Ruder will join other elected officials to recognize actions taken by Mayor Warren to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and bolster the City of Rochester’s resiliency to climate change.

Where:  The Green Roof atop Rochester City Hall Building B, 30 Church St, Rochester, NY

When:  Friday, June 9, at 10:00 a.m. Rain or shine.
