Henry Hudson Bridge Milling and Paving Work Tuesday, Sept. 22

Manhattan-bound Lower Level Will Be Closed to Traffic From 12:01 AM to 5 AM

To accommodate a roadway milling and paving operation at the Henry Hudson Bridge, the lower level southbound, to Manhattan, will be closed during the early morning hours on Tuesday, Sept. 22. The southbound closure will start at 12:01 a.m. and go through to 5:00 a.m. The northbound upper level, to the Bronx, remains open as normal.

Southbound traffic will be detoured onto Kappock Street at Exit 18, and motorists will follow detour via local streets to the Broadway Bridge. Motorists will then re-enter the southbound Henry Hudson Parkway at exit 17, Dyckman Street.

Motorists should allow for additional travel time.

When this work is complete, the roadway will have a smoother driving surface and freshly repainted lane markings.

Motorists can sign up for MTA e-mail or text alerts at www.mymtaalerts.com and for the latest information.
