The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will announce a partnership with Port Authority of New York New Jersey (PA of NYNJ), NJ TRANSIT, Amtrak and Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) to create a regional ‘Mask Force’ that encourages universal mask usage on public transit. Top leaders of agencies joining the Mask Force will come together for this announcement.

WHEN:

TODAY, Nov. 17 at 12:15 p.m. for news conference

Beginning at 11:15 a.m. leaders from regional agencies will hand out masks at Fulton Center at turnstiles for uptown  platform (Broadway and Fulton St entrance). The leaders will then walk west to PATH entrance in Oculus where they will hand out additional masks prior to news conference.
