$1,000,000 Mega Millions Tickets Sold in Manhattan & Hicksville

Mega Millions jackpot for Friday, August 4 is now $323,000,000

The New York Lottery today announced two $1,000,000 tickets for the August 1 Mega Millions drawing were sold in Manhattan and Hicksville.

The lucky second-prize winning tickets were sold at:

  • Sweet 14 Candy & Grocery at 402 E 14th St. in Manhattan
  • 7-Eleven at 10 Stewart Ave. in Hicksville

The winning numbers for the August 1 Mega Millions drawing were: 20 – 22 – 52 – 57 – 73 and Mega Ball 07.

The two $1,000,000-winning tickets from last night’s drawing matched the first five numbers selected. To win a Mega Millions jackpot, a player must match all six numbers drawn.

Because there was no jackpot-winning ticket sold for last night's drawing, the estimated jackpot for this Friday’s Mega Millions drawing is now $323,000,000 (with a cash option of $199,000,000).

Winning numbers for Mega Millions are drawn from a field of one to 75. The Mega Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 15. Drawings are televised every Tuesday and Friday during the 11 p.m. news on select New York Lottery draw stations.

Winning Mega Millions tickets at all prize levels may be cashed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

About the New York Lottery

The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.27 billion in fiscal year 2016-2017 to help support education in New York State. The Lottery’s contribution represents approximately 14 percent of total state education aid to local school districts.

New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education. It takes into account both a school district’s size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of Lottery school funding.
