ADVISORY: New Program to Improve New York State Parks to Be Announced

Who:             New York State Parks Commissioner Rose Harvey
                     Parks & Trail New York Executive Director Robin Dropkin
                     Representatives of Hudson Valley State Park Friends groups

What:            State Parks and Parks & Trails New York will announce a partnership to advance projects to strengthen Friends groups and enhance public access and recreational opportunities at state parks and historic sites across New York

When:           1 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016

                    15 Walnut St., Dobbs Ferry, NY

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation oversees 180 state parks and 35 historic sites, which are visited by 62 million people annually.
