Updated Advisory: MTA Officials to Provide Update on Railroad Crossing Safety

Officials will provide an update on railroad safety through the use of roadway delineators at railroad crossings and enhanced GPS alerts. Data shows a dramatic drop in incidents. Federal regulators are recommending other railroads across the country review research on the LIRR program and consider making similar upgrades.
