Service Advisory: LIRR Ronkonkoma Branch to Operate on Normal Schedule This Weekend

The Long Island Rail Road today announced that previously announced track work scheduled for this weekend, January 20-21, for the Ronkonkoma Branch, is being postponed. The railroad will operate regular weekend train service on the Ronkonkoma Branch this Saturday and Sunday.

Bus service that was previously scheduled to substitute for trains between Ronkonkoma Station and Hicksville during this time is no longer necessary.
 
Customers should be advised that the previously planned track work for the following weekend of January 27-28, which will require buses to substitute for trains from Ronkonkoma to Hicksville, remains in place from Saturday at 12:48 a.m., through 12:46 a.m. on Monday. Buses will substitute for trains to/and from stations January 27-28 at Hicksville, Bethpage, Farmingdale, Pinelawn, Wyandanch, Deer Park, Brentwood, Central Islip, and Ronkonkoma.
