Weekend Tube Closures At The Queens Midtown Tunnel For Necessary Repair Work: August 26 – 29, 2016

The Manhattan-bound (north) tube of the Queens Midtown Tunnel will be closed for necessary repair work on Friday, August 26, 2016, from 11:00 p.m. through Sunday, August 28 until 8:00 a.m. One lane will remain open in each direction in the other tube during this period.

The Queens-bound (south) tube of the Queens Midtown Tunnel will be closed this Sunday, August 28, 2016, from 10:00 p.m. through Monday, August 29 at 5:30 a.m., to accommodate ongoing Superstorm Sandy restoration work.  One lane will remain open in each direction in the other tube during this period.

Motorists should allow extra time and may wish to use an alternate route if possible.
