Multiple Third Prize Winning Powerball Tickets Sold in New York

Jackpot for Saturday's Drawing Rises to $1.5 Billion

The New York Lottery today announced that a Power Play Prize third place prize worth $100,000 and 12 third-prize winning tickets each worth $50,000 for the November 2, 2022 Powerball® drawing were purchased in New York. The winning tickets have four matching numbers and the Powerball.  

The prize-winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:

  • Billy's Marketplace on Cypress Avenue in Ridgewood - Power Play winner of $100,000 
  • Smokes For Less in Newburgh
  • FB & Q Trading Corp. on Route 9 in Wappingers Falls
  • 7-Eleven store on Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls 
  • The Fastrac location on Whiskey Hill Road in Wolcott 
  • Jerrick's Lower East Side on Route 52 in Fishkill
  • Bayville Pharmacy on Bayville Avenue in Bayville
  • Heta Deli Convenience, Inc. on 48th Avenue in Oakland Gardens
  • The Byrne Dairy store on County Route 57 in Phoenix
  • The Check Cashing Place on Claremont Parkway in the Bronx
  • Lucci Pizza Grill & Store on East River Road in Rochester
  • KK Food Mart, Inc. on Southwestern Boulevard in Orchard Park
  • Daisy's Cards and Gift Shop on North Broadway in Yonkers


The winning numbers for the Powerball drawing on November 2 are: 2-11-22-35-60 and the Powerball is 23. The multiplier for this drawing is 2, which means that one winner's prize doubled to $100,000. 

Players can securely check their tickets on the New York Lottery app. The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field one to of 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.

The jackpot for the drawing to be held Satruday is an estimated $1.5 Billion. Since the start of the current jackpot roll up on August 6th, New York sales have been $158.9 million or 7.78% of the $2.04 billion across all participating Powerball jurisdictions leading up to Wednesday’s drawing. Aid to education from New York’s ticket sales during the same time period totals more than $55.62 million.
