LAKE PLACID, N.Y. --- Nordic skiing at the Mt. Van Hoevenberg cross country and biathlon center, in Lake Placid, N.Y., has never been better and now it’s your chance to ski the center’s over 50k of world renowned trails for free for the rest of the season.

When you purchase your 2015-’16 season pass, the rest of this season is on us. Through April 24, adult season passes are just $160.00. Teen passes start at $100, while the junior and 70+ season passes for the 2015-’16 season are only $50.

The Lake Placid Interconnect pass for next season is also available. This Pass provides skiers with access to four participating Nordic centers in the region. In addition to Mt. Van Hoevenberg, this pass also gives skiers access to the Cascade Ski Touring Center, Whiteface Club Nordic Center and the Lake Placid Resort. All four Nordic centers are connected by the Jackrabbit Trail. The Jackrabbit Trail runs from Keene to Paul Smiths and offers free skiing except where it crosses groomed Nordic centers. The Interconnect provides access to over 100km of groomed skiing for next season.

The 2015-’16 adult interconnect pass, through November 13, is priced at $210.00. The teen and senior pass is $175.00, while junior pass begins at $125.00 before November 13.
