MEDIA ADVISORY: MTA Leaders Join Mr. and Mrs. Met with Mets Fans and Executives for Train Ride to Home Opener

Leaders from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) will join Mr. and Mrs. Met and Mets fans taking the Long Island Rail Road to Citi Field for the Mets’ home opener against the Miami Marlins.  

Following remarks, accredited media are welcome to ride along on the 10:44 a.m. LIRR train from Grand Central Madison to Mets-Willets Point.  

Options for media wishing to return to Manhattan after covering the event include:   

  • 11:08 a.m. train from Mets-Willets Point arriving at Grand Central Madison at 11:27 a.m.  
  • 11:36 a.m. train from Mets-Willets Point arriving at Penn Station at 11:55 a.m.  
  • 12:08 p.m. train from Mets-Willets Point arriving Grand Central Madison 12:27 p.m.  
  • 7 subway line to Grand Central subway station
