Volunteers to join in cleanup of waterfront park in Brooklyn

What:              Leader of state park system will join volunteers in the cleanup of Marsha P. Johnson State Park as part of the 10^th annual statewide ‘I Love My Park Day’ celebration

Where:           90 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211

This year, volunteers of all ages are expected to help improve 120 parks and historic sites through projects ranging from general park clean-up, such as debris and trash pick-up, and invasive plant and species removal to beautification efforts such as planting flowers and trees, weed removal, reseeding, painting, installation of benches and picnic tables, trail maintenance and much more.
