State Parks Commissioner Kulleseid Participates in ‘I Love My Park Day’
at Marsha P. Johnson State Park

 

Volunteers to join in cleanup of waterfront park in Brooklyn

 

Who:               State Parks Commissioner Erik Kulleseid and park volunteers

What:              Leader of state park system will join volunteers in the cleanup of Marsha P. Johnson State Park as part of the 10th annual statewide ‘I Love My Park Day’ celebration

When:            11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021

Where:           90 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211

This year, volunteers of all ages are expected to help improve 120 parks and historic sites through projects ranging from general park clean-up, such as debris and trash pick-up, and invasive plant and species removal to beautification efforts such as planting flowers and trees, weed removal, reseeding, painting, installation of benches and picnic tables, trail maintenance and much more.
