ADVISORY: Subway Countdown Clocks, Train Arrival Information Offline on Saturday for Software Update

Train arrival information on Countdown Clocks and the mobile app, Subway Time, will not be available between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 10, while a software upgrade takes place. During this 12-hour procedure, countdown clocks will be offline because no train data will be fed to the display signs and the app.

  • During the 12-hour software upgrade, no automated “next train arrival” information will be displayed in stations or on the Subway Time smartphone app;
  • No real-time train arrival information will be displayed on On the Go! Screens
  • Some stations also will experience arrival time information outages lasting 30 minutes each during a rolling software upgrade from midnight to 4 a.m. Friday, September 9, and from midnight to 6 a.m. Saturday, September 10.
