HORSE SHOW TAKES CENTER RING AT FAIRGROUNDS

Classic Horse Show Series Returns

State Agriculture Commissioner Darrel J. Aubertine today announced the following event running from Saturday, June 22 to Sunday, June 23 at the New York State Fairgrounds:

Bridle Path Manor Stables presents the Classic Horse Show series on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 beginning at 8 a.m. each day in the 4-H Rings and Stables.  The Bridle Path Manor Classic Horse Show is part of the local Classic Horse Show Series. The show features several divisions of horses and riders and runs classes in two rings simultaneously. Each division in the show features high point prizes for the day towards year end awards.  Admission is free.

The New York State Fair runs from August 22 – September 2, 2013.  The Fair’s theme is “Sharing the Bounty and Pride of New York.” 

In addition to the annual New York State Fair, the Fairgrounds host dozens of agricultural events throughout the year, including some of the Northeast’s most prestigious horse and livestock shows.

The home of the Great New York State Fair is a 375-acre exhibit and entertainment complex that operates all year.
