Seasonable Winter Weather Settling in… Don’t Miss out on Skiing/Riding Whiteface Mountain

WILMINGTON, N.Y. --- Last week’s cold snap is a distant memory and seasonable winter weather is beginning to settle in on Whiteface Mountain, in Wilmington, N.Y. So there is no better time than now to ski or ride the Olympic mountain.

Two inches of snow fell overnight and more is on the way this week. Currently 68 trails, including the summit, are open for skiing and riding.

Whiteface’s First tracks program is a great way to get on the mountain before everyone else.  Skiers and riders can take an early morning guided run Saturdays and Sundays before the lifts and trails open. First Tracks is limited to 14 intermediate and above level skiers and riders. For more details, or to register, email the mountain’s guest services desk, ski@whiteface.com.

Every Wednesday guests can ski or ride Whiteface for just $48 when they present any Coca-Cola product. Why Not Wednesday’s is valid during non-holiday Wednesdays through April 2018.

Finally, Winter Women- taught by women, is open to all ability levels and is designed to help you push through barriers to become a stronger, more confident skier, also begins Wednesday.

For more information about the five-week program, or to register, visit http://www.whiteface.com/lessons-programs/season-long-programs.
