Throgs Neck Bridge Toll Plaza Overnight Lane Closures Start April 5th

A series of overnight lane closures will begin at the Throgs Neck Bridge starting Wednesday, April 5th for necessary roadway reconstruction and paving work.  The schedule is as follows:

Two lanes closed, in each direction, northbound and southbound, in the area south of the toll plaza:

  • 4/5 from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Thurs. 4/6
  • 4/7 from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Sat. 4/8
  • *Sat. 4/8 from 10 p.m. through 7 a.m. Sun 4/9, will be used as a contingency night if weather is unsuitable on any of the previous nights.
  • 4/10 from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Tues. 4/11

Two lanes closed, Southbound (to Queens) only:

  • 4/11 from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Wed. 4/12
  • 4/12 from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Thurs. 4/13
  • 4/13 from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Fri. 4/14
  • 4/14 from 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. Sat. 4/15

Motorists should plan accordingly and allow additional travel time during the period of these lane closures.
