NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. – The New York Lottery today announced two top prize winning tickets for the October 24 and October 26 TAKE 5 drawings were sold in Nassau County.
For the October 24 drawing, a top prize winning ticket worth $40,153 was sold at the Little Italy Variety Store at 288 Glen Street in Glen Cove. For the October 26 drawing, a top prize winning ticket worth $29,982 was sold at the 7-Eleven at 159 Atlantic Avenue in New Hyde Park.
In addition to the two top prizes, which were won by matching five out of five numbers, 204 players each purchased $590 winning tickets by matching four out of five numbers for the October 24 drawing, and 230 players each purchased $391 winning tickets for the October 26 drawing. In total, there were 184,303 TAKE 5 winners for both drawings.
The winning numbers for the October 24 TAKE 5 drawing were 09-26-28-33-37. The winning numbers for the October 26 TAKE 5 drawing were 04-07-22-24-32.
The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket to check their tickets again as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.
The winners may claim their tickets at any one of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Long Island office at 45 South Service Road, Plainview, NY 11803 or at Resorts World Casino New York City, 110-00 Rockaway Blvd., Jamaica, NY 11420.
