REMINDER: Bridge Lift Testing at RFK Bridge Manhattan Span Scheduled for Early Morning Hours of Friday, March 15, 2024

Intermittent Closures Planned for Both Directions

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is reminding the public that intermittent, full closures at the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge’s Harlem River Lift Span to and from Manhattan are scheduled on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 12:01 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. for bridge lifts to test mechanical functionality and allow routine preventive maintenance.

Each closure is expected to last approximately 20 minutes. Customers traveling on the M60 bus, which offers service to LaGuardia Airport, should expect delays. Motorists may wish to consider an alternate route.
