The Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge will be fully closed to traffic during the early morning hours on Thursday, April 28 for maintenance work on the bridge lift span.

 The closure will take place on Thursday, April 28^th from 1:00 a.m. through 2:00 a.m. for necessary maintenance.  All traffic will be detoured to the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge during this time.

 Electronic signs will be placed along the Belt Parkway and Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn and along Rockaway Point Boulevard and Beach Channel Drive in the Rockaways, notifying motorists to use the Cross Bay Veterans Bridge.
